A DFW attic in July is one of the hottest places a house has, and everything below it pays for what the insulation up there can't stop. Under-insulated attics are extremely common in the local housing stock — settled, patchy, or displaced by years of trades walking through — and topping them up is one of the least glamorous, best-returning improvements a homeowner can make.
We insulate as part of the work we're already doing — walls opened in a remodel get modern insulation before they close, additions get insulated to current standards — and as standalone attic work: air sealing the penetrations first (the step that skipping quietly ruins), then bringing depth up to spec. Insulation without air sealing is a blanket over an open window.
What insulation work includes
- Attic insulation top-ups and full re-insulation
- Air sealing penetrations before insulation goes in
- Wall insulation during remodels while cavities are open
- Insulation for additions, garage conversions and bonus rooms
- Honest assessment of current depth and condition, with photos

Common questions
- How do I know if my attic is under-insulated?
- The upstairs-is-always-hotter pattern is the classic symptom. We measure the actual depth and coverage and show you photos — it's a five-minute check with a clear answer.
- Does insulation help in summer too, or just winter?
- In North Texas it earns most of its keep in summer — slowing attic heat from soaking into the ceiling. Winter benefit comes along for free.
