Carpentry is the finish line of every remodel — literally. Baseboards, casings, crown molding, stair rails and built-ins are where the eye lands, and the gap between adequate and excellent is measured in how joints close and how trim meets walls that are never quite straight. Scribing to reality instead of assuming plumb walls is most of the craft.

Beyond trim, we build the woodwork that makes storage look intentional: built-in bookcases, window seats, mudroom lockers, closet systems, mantels and accent walls. In DFW's newer construction, builder-grade trim is often the first thing owners upgrade — swapping stock casing and adding crown changes a room's perceived quality more per dollar than almost anything else.

What carpentry work includes

  • Baseboard, casing, crown and window trim installation
  • Built-ins: bookcases, benches, mudroom and closet systems
  • Wainscoting, board-and-batten and accent wall paneling
  • Interior door hanging and hardware
  • Repairs to existing trim, stairs and rails

Common questions

Can you match the existing trim profile in my house?
Usually yes — most profiles are still milled, and near-matches can be assembled from stock. Where a profile is truly obsolete we'll show you the closest option or price custom milling for the rooms where it matters.
Is it worth upgrading builder-grade trim?
It's one of the highest-impact finish upgrades per dollar in a typical DFW home. Taller baseboards and cased openings read immediately as quality — you see the difference from the doorway.
